Elevate your career as Fairstone Bank’s Director of Compliance Advisory. This pivotal role emphasizes consumer protection and privacy, supporting organizational compliance initiatives in a hybrid work environment.
As the Director of Compliance Advisory, you will provide comprehensive support to the Vice President, Business Conduct & CPO. This position requires extensive experience in financial services compliance, including significant expertise in consumer protection and privacy legislation. Key responsibilities range from compliance advisory duties to operational compliance and team leadership, ensuring effective oversight of legislative risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess compliance risks across product portfolios
• Advise on compliance breaches and remedial actions
• Review marketing materials for regulatory compliance
• Develop training to enhance compliance awareness
• Oversee compliance metrics and quality assurance reviews
Requirements:
• Degree in Business, Finance, or Law
• 10+ years in financial services compliance
• Knowledge of Canadian privacy legislation
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience in policy writing and regulatory guidelines
