Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Technologist I to perform pharmaceutical formulation, scale-up, and manufacturing activities in the Pharmaceutics and Process Technology area. The role involves equipment operation, maintenance, and documentation while adhering to GMP and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and clean manufacturing equipment and rooms
- Execute formulation and scale-up assignments with appropriate documentation
- Maintain and participate in upkeep of manufacturing and laboratory instruments
- Support inter-departmental coordination for documentation and equipment tasks
- Identify and report safety hazards and maintain compliant work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutics, Engineering, or Chemistry
- Minimum 1 year pharmaceutical formulation or manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in cleanroom environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and written/oral communication
- Proficiency in English language
