Health & Wellness Manager - Private Schools

Aramark is recruiting a corporate Registered Dietitian for our Private School operations throughout the GTA. This role is integral to bridge nutritional value with the school culinary operations, the students, staff, faculty and parents.
This Registered Dietitian role is a creative, interactive position that utilizes visual aids and props as you integrate with the student body, faculty, parents and Aramark food service operations. This is not a clinical role.

Culinary experiences and well-maintained environments are fundamental to student success. From brain-powering ingredients to comforting flavor combinations, nutritious food doesn’t have to be boring. Aramark chefs and dietitians are constantly reviewing the latest insights and food trends to find the next culinary innovation and help students discover their love of food.

We partner with you to enhance the student experience, support parents, and collaborate with administration, all while delivering on the expectations of parents and the community.

Job Responsibilities

•    Create or draw from current materials for monthly food information digital and print content
•    Utilize LCD screen material for napkin dispenser inserts at school dining halls
•    Review school menus, allergens and student specific menus for dietary balance
•    Breakdown menu requirements for students with complex food needs or allergies, intolerances
•    School site visits for Pop-Up displays, tastings, education, parent and/or board presentations
•    Provide corporate regional support through proposal presentations, required training and inter-departmental Dietitian meetings

Qualifications

•    Must be a Registered Dietitian with the College of Registered Dietitians of Ontario
•    1-2 years experience is preferred; new graduates may be considered 
•    Some creative ability to collaborate with marketing to formulate materials for a captive audience 
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop positive working rapport with students, faculty, staff, parents and colleagues
•    Must have a valid G Ontario Driver’s License and own vehicle for school site in-person visits
