We are currently seeking motivated individuals for the position of General Labourer within our Winnipeg, MB location. This is a full-time, permanent position that reports directly to the Operations Manager.
This position will be based out of 140 Paquin Rd. Winnipeg MB, R2J 3V4
Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo pre-employment testing.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Ensuring safe procedures are followed while performing job responsibilities
- Complying with workplace policies and procedures (operational and health and safety)
- Packaging material according to customer specifications
- Operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery
- Ensuring quality customer service
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (those with experience in the industry will also be given consideration)
- Able to work shift work (Both Days and Nights as required on a set schedule)
- Crane, forklift, and machine operation experience are assets
- Must have manufacturing or steel experience
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated, results oriented
Wage: $25.25 - $31.68 / hour
