Solution Architect

Our Client is looking for a Architect to lead solution architecture across approximately four concurrent digital service projects. This is a full-time, in-office role focused on building reusable digital services at scale.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture - from discovery and feasibility through to iterative delivery
- Define system boundaries, integration strategies, and target-state architecture
- Review and contribute to code, implement user stories, and guide technical decisions
- Identify opportunities to leverage shared components across digital services
- Coach and mentor product team members
- Communicate architecture to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear diagrams, documents, and presentations
- Contribute to architecture standards, principles, and quality metrics
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years as a Software/Solution Architect leading design and delivery
- 5+ years with containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code
- 5+ years working alongside UX and service design teams
- 5+ years defining and communicating solution architecture
Nice to Have
- Microsoft .NET Framework (5 years)
- Secure development practices (4 years)
- API design and RESTful services (5 years)
- CI/CD pipelines with automated testing (4 years)
- Legacy system modernization (6 years)
- Relational and non-relational databases (4 years)
- Public sector digital service experience (3 years)
