Job Description

Seeking dedicated Family Physicians to join our Tilbury District FamilyHealth Team located in Tilbury, Ontario. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to comprehensive primary‑care services in Chatham‑Kent, Ontario.

We work with an interdisciplinary team that includes NPs, RNs, RPNs, social workers, pharmacists, chiropodists, phlebotomists, dietitians, respiratory therapists, kinesiologists, and administrative staff. Physicians will build a roster and use the Accuro EMR system.

The team functions within Chatham‑Kent Health Alliance, a 200‑bed community hospital serving the region.

Requirements

Job Duties:

• Provide continuous and comprehensive healthcare for individuals and families across all ages, genders, and medical conditions.
• Develop and manage treatment plans for both acute and chronic diseases.
• Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
• Conduct routine check‑ups, assessments, and vaccinations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.

Skills Requirements:

• Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
• Registration / licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing medical education.
• Ability to manage a diverse range of health issues in patients of all age groups.
• High standards of discipline, punctuality, courtesy, ethics, and compassion.

Language of work:

Compensation is blended capitation under the FHO model, with a flat rate determined by patient age, sex, roster size, and expenses. The earning range could be $250,000–$430,000.

Possibly eligible for income stabilization and newcomer stipends.
