Director of Mining Studies at Ausenco

Ausenco

Shape the future of mining with Ausenco as the Director of Studies in Toronto, focusing on innovative solutions in Minerals & Metals. Lead a talented team while ensuring project success and client satisfaction. This role is designed for an experienced professional with at least 15 years in the mining industry. You'll be tasked with providing strategic direction to Study Managers and project engineers, managing studies from business case assessments to feasibility analyses. Your leadership will be fundamental in optimizing efficiency and driving financial outcomes in a complex environment. Key Responsibilities:

Ensure efficient team performance across projects
Mentor and develop a strong team of experts
Identify and mitigate potential risks in studies
Build strong stakeholder relationships for project support
Engage with experts to leverage innovative methodologies

Requirements:

Engineering degree with significant industry experience
Proven success in managing multiple mining studies
Strong leadership and team development skills
Experience in EPC/EPCM project management
Excellent communication, with travel readiness
