Clinical Application Specialist | Remote Canada (GTA)

Clinical Application Specialist role supporting J&J Vision's surgical equipment training and certification. Candidate will partner with medical affairs and field teams to deliver clinical training on refractive and cataract laser devices to ophthalmology professionals across Canada, while coordinating safety reporting and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Medical Affairs to learn and apply Health Canada approved messaging and training certification standards
• Deliver clinical and technical training and certification to ophthalmology and optometry healthcare professionals and technical staff
• Observe and coordinate clinical education activities to facilitate learning on clinically relevant product information
• Coordinate safety reporting data collection, management, and accurate result reporting
• Shadow experienced Clinical Application Specialists to understand customer, sales, and service team dynamics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years clinical ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
• Cataract and/or LASIK surgery suite experience, preferably with J&J products
• Ability to travel domestically up to 70%
• Knowledge of Health Canada approved messaging and certification criteria

Compensation: $87,000-$140,300 CAD base, plus discretionary performance bonus
