Anaesthetic Nurse

Job Responsibility:

Description of Services

As an Aesthetic Nurse at RxCosmetics Aesthetic Clinic you will be responsible for providing treatments to patients under the medical directorship of our nurse practitioner. You will support the clinical team and patients through a variety of services related to patient care management, organization, and communication. Experience in this field is not required as training will be provided to ensure effective therapeutic outcomes and patient satisfaction.

The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality customer service and professionalism in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Consulting with patients;
• Interviewing and medically screening patients before providing services;
• Performing skin examinations/assessments; familiarity with Obeserv Skin Analysis device an asset
• Preparing treatment rooms;
• Educating patients on treatments and procedures including what to expect before and after;
• Performing Chemical Peels, Radiofrequency Microneedling, Microdermabrasion, skincare treatments for acne, rosacea and anti-aging.
• Monitoring patients during the procedure; and documenting accurately as per CNO guidelines in the clinics EMR.
• Staying up-to-date with new procedures and protocols.
• Recommending and selling skincare products and treatments as appropriate
• Referring within the clinic to other providers when required for patient outcomes

Requirements and skills

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurse of Ontario as a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse
• Individual Professional Liability Required
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of non-invasive cosmetic procedures is an asset
• Comfortable working with medical equipment and maintaining a sterile environment
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Job Type: Independent Contract Position; all products and devices will be supplied by RxCosmetics Aesthetic Clinic

Experience: At least 2 years full time nursing experience within an acute care facility an asset.

Commission based remuneration
