Become the Research Chair in Artificial Intelligence at The Royal Ottawa Health Care Group, focusing on mental health and innovative healthcare solutions. Utilize AI to advance mental health treatment effectiveness in this senior role. The Royal Ottawa Health Care Group is looking for a leading clinician-scientist to direct a globally recognized research initiative at the interface of AI and mental health. Leveraging significant funding and infrastructure, this Chair will design and test AI-aided interventions aimed at enhancing patient care and clinical outcomes in mental health. You will play a pivotal role in creating an Ottawa Centre of Excellence in AI and Mental Health. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a pioneering research program in AI and mental health
- Assess innovative AI strategies for clinical applications
- Transform research findings into practical health solutions
- Advocate for ethical AI use in mental health
- Lead training programs for upcoming researchers
- MD or MD/PhD from a reputable institution
- Established record in research leadership and funding success
- Qualified for medical practice in Ontario
- Expertise in AI, digital health technologies
- Strong partnership-building and mentoring skills
