Municipal Utilities Manager at Public Works

Drive effective municipal utility operations with your expertise as the Utilities Manager at Public Works. This full-time role focuses on water and wastewater services management as you lead operational initiatives. In this exempt position, you will report to the Director of Public Works and require a strong background in utility management. You will be accountable for overseeing water and wastewater treatment services while ensuring reliable infrastructure. Your leadership will impact operational planning, service delivery, and staff supervision within municipal utilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee utility operations and infrastructure maintenance
- Establish operational priorities and allocate resources
- Monitor the performance of utility systems
- Lead and supervise staff effectively
- Prepare and manage operational budgets
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years in municipal utility operations
- BC EOCP certification required
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
- Strong skills in project coordination and compliance
