Aircraft Mechanic (CH147F) Company: Boeing Canada Operations Ltd Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking Aircraft Mechanic, reporting to the Maintenance Operations Manager working out of the Petawawa Ontario facility. The Aircraft Mechanic will join the existing team of mechanics supporting the CH147F Phase Inspections in support of the Royal Canadian Airforce. Position Responsibilities:

• Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements. Oversees training. Works under general direction.
• Ability to perform as part of a cohesive team, working toward a common goal.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. Employer is not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience required, preferred on CH147F platform.
• Must have one of the following: Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Avionics Technician (AME-E) licensed or Military equivalent.
• Must be legally able to work in Canada.
• Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.
• Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding controlled goods.
• Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance.
• Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• Post-secondary education.
• Have successfully completed a formal, CH147 type training course related to their aviation specialty taught by an acceptable training organization.
• Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS) or Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS).
• Active Secret Level II Security Clearance.
