Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service via telephone, online, live chat and written correspondence channels to customers who have purchased our product, auto dealerships selling our product and repair facilities that service our customers
• Monitor customer service queues (Phone, Online Portal, Email and Live Chat)
• Manage requests received via ticketing systems, to ensure timely responses to all customers while ensuring adherence to our contractual service level agreements and departmental key performance indicators
• Facilitate the claims adjusting process to meet contractual service level agreements, departmental KPI’s and underwriting commitments
• Manage complex technical claims adjudication such as; engines, transmissions, differentials and electrical failures
• Liaise with the Finance, Sales and Customer Success Teams as necessary in order to effectively adjudicate all claims or meet customer needs
• Uphold all Service Level Agreements and claims adjudication best practice standards

Required Skills:

• Ability to analyze overall damage to determine procedures for repair
• Ability to determine extent of direct/indirect damage and direction of impact
• Build estimates according to GAA standards, using Audatex and Mitchell-on Demand estimating software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional customer service
• Tactful negotiator
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective and efficient at multi-tasking
• Courteous and professional telephone manner
• Proficient with MS Office suite of products
• Bilingual (English/French) oral and written is an asset

 

 

Education:

•   Journeyman certification or 1 st ,2 nd ,or 3 rd year apprenticeship preferred
• Valid Adjuster license as required by provincial regulatory agency an asset
• Post-secondary education an asset

 

 

Experience:

• 3+ years automotive service experience
• 2+ years claims adjusting experience an asset
• 2+ years contact center experience an asset
