Senior Development Accountant for High-Impact Real Estate Projects

Take charge of financial oversight for high-value residential developments as a Senior Development Accountant. Engage with finance and development teams to manage project lifecycle finances from start to finish in an in-office role. Based in downtown Toronto, this position involves working closely on projects valued between $150M and $300M. Your expertise in development accounting will guide preparations for construction loan draws and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. With 2+ years of relevant experience, your analytical skills will shine in project assessments and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple development project accounts
- Prepare and submit construction loan draw requests
- Track development budgets and costs accurately
- Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Support reporting for investors and joint ventures
- 2+ years in development accounting experience
- Deep knowledge of project accounting practices
- Familiarity with construction loan processes
- Proficient with Yardi; JD Edwards is a bonus
- In-office presence required four days a week
