Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Warehouse Sorter to join their team. As a Warehouse Sorter, you will be part of the operations support team, contributing to efficient and safe warehouse processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Sorter
Location: London, ON
Pay Range: $18.00/hour
Shift: Monday to Wednesday: 1:00 AM - 9:00 AM, Thursday & Friday: 1:30 AM - 9:00 AM
What's the Job?
- Unload curbside vehicles efficiently and safely
- Load linehaul trailers to meet scheduled departure times
- Scan, cube, and reweigh shipments accurately to ensure proper documentation
- Work with conveyor systems, roller belts, trailers, cargo containers, and package vehicles
- Build positive working relationships with couriers, lead hands, and fellow sorters
What's Needed?
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and available for overtime when required
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs regularly
