The Ottawa Buildings team at WSP is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for the Fall term. Perfect for engineering students, this role focuses on supporting design, modeling, and project delivery alongside skilled engineers. You will have the chance to engage in site visits and understand the construction process. Key Responsibilities:
- Support design and modeling of structural systems
- Assist with quantity estimation and construction observations
- Review shop drawings and assist in site report preparation
- Participate in meetings with clients and project teams
- Gain insight into engineering consulting practices
- Enrolled in a relevant university program (Civil/Structural Engineering)
- Interest in construction and building systems
- Clear communication and detail-oriented approach
- Initiative and a collaborative mindset
- Valid driver’s license and security clearance eligibility
