Senior Data Engineer for AI at Movable Ink

Join Movable Ink as a Senior Data Engineer, focusing on AI-driven personalization through robust data pipelines and Spark-based infrastructures. Work collaboratively to enhance our ML platforms serving global marketers. Movable Ink is seeking a data engineering leader to elevate our AI Systems team. This role emphasizes owning and scaling data pipelines crucial for our recommendations engine. Candidates will leverage Apache Spark to optimize performance, ensuring seamless data flow for major brands using our DaVinci Personalization product. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize production data pipelines
- Maintain and scale Spark-based batch pipelines on GCP Dataproc
- Ensure data quality and accessibility in our ML Data Lake
- Support ML Engineers with data needs for model development
- Collaborate on platform architectural decisions
- Over 5 years of data engineering experience
- Expertise in Apache Spark and PySpark DataFrame API
- Experience with large-scale data processing on GCP
- Strong Python development skills
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment
