Site Coordinator M/F

What is the role?

• Develop a strong understanding of the contract, drawings, phasing, and bid items to ensure work in the field aligns with requirements and identify conflicts
• Act as the primary contact for field operations, subcontractors, and consultants
• Coordinate daily work activities, lookaheads, and schedules with subcontractors and internal crews
• Align work between trades to avoid conflicts and delays, and report progress against schedule
• Track material quantities delivered to site (GBC, concrete, cement, ACP) and maintain supporting documentation
• Measure and track labourer, production, and installed quantities, maintaining accurate trackers
• Monitor equipment and workforce levels on site
• Assist with pre-drafting RFIs and support communication between field and project teams
• Coordinate testing, QA/QC activities, and documentation
• Maintain daily reports, site photos, and project documentation, including SharePoint updates
• Support field safety, including orientations, FLHAs, HSE requirements, and subcontractor safety coordination
• Support environmental controls, traffic accommodations, barricades, and site setup
• Participate in planning sessions and help align field activities with project expectations
• This role is field-focused, requiring strong coordination, communication, and on-site presence

What do we value?

• CET designation or diploma or degree in Civil Engineering
• 1-3+ years field level experience
• High computer literacy
• Proficient in Microsoft office, excel
• Experience in scheduling software an asset
• Survey experience an asset
• Past experience in Civil construction measurement and payment
• Strong written and communication skills

We are looking for a Site Coordinator role in our Municipal Business Unit. The role will report directly to the Project Manager during in-season project work. Reporting to the Municipal Business Unit Manager overall. The opportunity will be supporting the Terwillegar Phase 3 Project involving expansion of a new interchange adding a new bridge, new pedestrian bridge, a mix of greenfield and brownfield construction.
