Senior Gameplay Software Developer EA

Become a part of Electronic Arts as a Senior Gameplay Software Developer. Collaborate on innovative gameplay features in a hybrid role at our offices in Redwood City, Montreal, or Vancouver. This position focuses on architecting and enhancing gameplay experiences while working alongside product leaders and gameplay designers. You’ll be instrumental in refining user journey requirements and ensuring robust implementations align with EA’s technical strategies. Engage in play tests and feedback sessions to shape features that enhance players' gaming journeys. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain engaging gameplay features
- Align gameplay implementations with core architecture
- Refine user journey requirements with strong guidance
- Implement telemetry for feature visibility and tracking
- Identify technical risks and suggest mitigation plans
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Experience with AAA game engines like Unreal or Frostbite
- Proficient in large C++ codebases
- Skilled in gameplay feature design and implementation
- Familiar with design tools like Miro and Figma
