Summary

As a SysAdmin, member of the S3 Infrastructure team, you will have the opportunity to work on the automated deployment of SIEM event management solutions, manage security tools, and develop applications to support the latest technologies for monitoring our systems. You will support our efforts in deploying and maintaining critical infrastructures for our platform clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain application products supporting S3 Infrastructure.
• Ensure synergy and knowledge sharing of best design practices, as well as communication to teams.
• Maintain and enhance the performance of existing software.
• Participate in the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) lifecycle.
• Serve as SME on Linux system administration and automation.
• Resolve operational issues promptly, manage escalated problems, and expedite resolution of outstanding items.
• Develop preventive measures and write procedures.
• Contribute to project meetings and report progress status.
• Propose solutions to improve or optimize processes, programs, and work methods.
• Support large-scale projects and corporate initiatives involving multiple sectors.
• Implement and enhance various quality controls in design.
• Produce clean, readable, maintainable code.
• Evaluate existing solutions and implementations.
• Act as a coach by providing guidelines to junior team members.
• Perform detailed code reviews with suggestions for improvement.

Critical Qualifications

• Five (5) to Seven (7) years recent hands-on experience administering Linux servers (CentOS, Redhat...).
• Two (2) years scripting in multiple languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash.
• Two (2) years managing SIEM applications such as ArcSight, FortiSIEM, LogRhythm, including installation, configuration, and tuning of such applications.
• One (1) to three (3) years recent hands-on experience with Ansible, GIT, CI/CD and practical knowledge of Ansible Tower.
• One (1) to three (3) years recent hands-on experience managing hypervisors such as Vmware, Openstack, and Proxmox.
• Good expertise with Test Driven Development and Agile Development.
• Good expertise in CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab Runners and/or Jenkins.
• Good expertise in Kubernetes-based workflows (Gitlab/Docker/OpenShift).
• Proficiency in Linux patching/upgrading, commands, shell scripting, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• In-depth knowledge of fault management tools (such as Zabbix, Prometheus).
• Intermediate and practical knowledge of information security and networks (TCP/IP, DNS, proxy, Firewall) in medium to large environments.
• Knowledge of asset management and logging practices.C19
