Schedule: Monday–Thursday, flexible shifts within operating hours of 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Compensation: starting at $34.00 per hour, depending on experience and training

Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic, and qualified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team. The successful candidate will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. This role includes a strong focus on outdoor programming, collaboration within a team setting, and supporting children in mixed age group environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programs and daily activities
• Develop and lead outdoor learning experiences in all seasons
• Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
• Work collaboratively and positively as part of a team
• Foster inclusive learning experiences for mixed age groups
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Observe and document children’s progress and developmental milestones
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Guide children using positive behaviour support strategies
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health, and safety standards
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Childhood Educator certification
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last 6 months
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Current TB test clearance
• Immunization record
• Doctor’s clearance confirming fitness to work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Genuine passion for working with children
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience working with mixed age groups and outdoor programming considered an asset
