Event Coordinator

Help deliver championship curling across Saskatchewan!

CURLSASK is seeking an organized, relationship-focused Event Coordinator to lead the planning and delivery of provincial championships and events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys event operations, sport administration, and creating outstanding experiences for athletes, officials, volunteers, and host communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate CURLSASK championship operations, including entries, draws, registration, rules, and event communications.
Manage team registrations, fees, and web-based registration systems.
Support host committees with event planning, logistics, equipment, and timelines.
Maintain championship equipment, trophies, and event inventory.
Manage the live results platform and support users.
Coordinate with staff to keep event information current on the CURLSASK website.
Assist with assigning officials and competition liaisons.
Support Team Saskatchewan preparations for national championships.
Participate on the Competition Committee and attend Board meetings as requested.

Qualifications:

Experience in event coordination, sport administration, recreation, project coordination, or a related field.
Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience working with volunteers, committees, or community organizations.
Proficiency with registration systems, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Saskatchewan.
Availability for some evenings and weekends during the curling season.

Assets:
Knowledge of curling, championship events, non-profit sport organizations, live scoring or registration platforms, and Safe Sport principles.
