Position:  Full-Time Healthcare Security Guard

Pay Rate : $18.35 - $22.61/hour

Locations : Toronto, Kingston, Thunder Bay, Niagara, Kitchener

Job Description:

• Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols of interior and exterior areas, including in inclement weather
• Respond to emergency, medical, and fire incidents while remaining calm and professional
• Perform Patient Watch, investigate routine incidents, and enforce parking, smoking, and site by-laws
• Maintain accurate reports and notes for incidents and end-of-shift documentation
• Apply advanced de-escalation skills and enforce site policies, rules, and regulations
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks and support site operations
• Present a professional presence, uphold client and company expectations, and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
• Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
• A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)

  • Immunization Record:
• Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
• Authorized to legally work in Canada
• Please be aware: The MOAB/UoF training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
• • The MOAB/UoF training is held in person at the designated branch.
• Three months of customer service experience is considered an asset

Certification Requirements (All)

First Aid, CPR Level C
A Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
