Associate Director in Liquidity and Risk Management

Shape the future of liquidity management at Scotiabank as an Associate Director concentrating on financial crisis and liquidity strategy. The position is critical for managing liquidity strategy and ensuring adherence to OSFI and CDIC planning requirements. You will coordinate with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and support business initiatives that mitigate risk and foster deposit growth while continually improving the Bank’s liquidity framework through effective oversight. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate liquidity strategy and crisis management efforts
- Lead Financial Market Intermediaries contingency planning
- Support update processes for early warning systems
- Drive collateral management optimization initiatives
- Contribute to strategic liquidity projects
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- 5-7 years of treasury or risk management experience
- In-depth knowledge of liquidity regulatory frameworks
- Proficient in C-Suite communications
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills
