Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Oversee and manage the yacht sales team. Provide leadership, training, and support to yacht brokers.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize yacht sales and profitability. Monitor and analyze market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, yacht owners, and industry stakeholders.
- Brokerage Management: Manage all aspects of the yacht brokerage operations, including inventory management, sales processes, and customer service.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient operations, including coordination of showings, sea trials, and logistics related to yacht sales.
- Marketing and Promotion: Oversee marketing efforts for the brokerage, including digital marketing, advertising campaigns, and participation in boat shows and industry events.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the brokerage, including budgeting, pricing strategies, and financial reporting.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Industry Networking: Maintain and expand a professional network within the yachting industry to benefit business operations and sales.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the brokerage's market presence and client base.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a yacht broker, with a proven track record in sales and client relationship management.
- Experience in yacht brokerage management or a similar leadership role in the marine industry.
- Strong understanding of the yacht sales process and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and digital marketing tools.
Desirable Skills:
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Deep knowledge of yachts, including technical aspects, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Networking skills with a good relationship in the yachting community.
