Mining Sales Rep

We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established, global supplier to the mining and drilling industry. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and customer support, the company is expanding its presence in Ontario and is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to manage and grow a key regional territory.

This is a field-based role focused on developing long-term customer relationships across mining operations, contractors, and exploration companies throughout the province.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will:

• Manage and grow an existing customer base across Ontario
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within mining and drilling operations
• Develop strong relationships with site managers, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders
• Provide technical product recommendations and support
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales
• Track pipeline activity and provide regular forecasts
• Travel regularly within the province to visit customer sites

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within mining, drilling, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors
• Strong understanding of mining operations in Ontario
• Technical aptitude and the ability to communicate product value clearly
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
• Bilingual (French and English) is beneficial
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
