Host/Hostess

Job description:

BlueBlood Steakhouse is currently seeking experienced and professional Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team.

Applicants should be prepared to work in a highly systematic and deliberately paced fine-dining environment, with a strong focus on exceptional guest service, attention to detail, and creating a memorable dining experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Provide guests with menus and assist with any initial questions.
• Seat guests at tables or in designated waiting areas.
• Provide attentive and professional service throughout the dining experience.
• Respond to guest concerns and complaints and assist in resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate information to guests.
• Take and manage reservations efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with guests and other members of the restaurant team.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, cleanliness, and guest service.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Host/Hostess in a restaurant environment.
• Fine-dining or upscale restaurant experience is an asset.
• experience with open table, in busy fast pace environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, positive, and welcoming attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
