We are seeking a Project Controls Student for our Canadian Industrial Division in Edmonton, AB that is available for 8 months starting in September, 2026 . This position will be under the direct supervision of the Project Controls Manager. 

As a Project Controls Student, you will contribute to our team by: 

Responsibilities

• Participation in a multi-disciplinary project controls team.
• Assisting with preparation of the analysis of the trending schedule, progress, and cost information to project personnel.
• Participation in team or client meetings. 
• Gathering information for the project team that helps define scope of work
• Participation in data collection for the project weekly and monthly progress reports 
• Demonstrates problem solving abilities and professional judgment 
• Ad hoc duties as required 

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role: 

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering with a mechanical, electrical, or civil major. 
• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset. 
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is an asset. 
• Self-motivated 
• Multi-discipline mindset
