Senior Civil Airport Engineering Manager

Shape practical airport solutions through civil engineering leadership, QA/QC, and client coordination while travelling between Canadian and Caribbean project sites.Avia NG Airport Consultants is seeking a proactive, client-focused Senior Project Manager with strong civil or airfield design experience. The position provides technical oversight for airport infrastructure, leads multidisciplinary assignments, and evaluates engineering challenges. Calgary is the primary home base, with Southampton, Ontario considered for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical oversight for airport and airfield infrastructure projectsEvaluate challenges and develop practical, innovative engineering solutionsEnsure standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements are followedPerform QA/QC reviews across engineering and construction documentationMentor team members through training, coaching, and knowledge sharingRequirements:
Strong hands-on civil or airfield calculations, drawings, and specifications experienceProfessional Engineer designation or eligibility in AlbertaMinimum eight to ten years’ progressive relevant engineering experienceKnowledge of Transport Canada, NAV CANADA, IATA, ASSI, or ECCAAValid passport, Canadian work eligibility, and Canadian Class G licenseUse civil engineering judgment, technical leadership, and aviation standards knowledge to advance Avia NG airport projects internationally.
