2D Operations Lead Role in VFX

Become the 2D Operations Lead Engineer in Vancouver, BC, where you'll innovate Nuke workflows and provide technical support to artists. Your leadership will enhance pipeline efficiency.
This position focuses on guiding the 2D pipeline team while resolving technical challenges using Nuke. You'll be active in daily scrums and collaborate with management to develop and implement features. Your ability to troubleshoot and create artist-friendly tools will be pivotal for the team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative workflows for compositing artists
• Troubleshoot and solve artist tool issues effectively
• Partner with management for feature implementation
• Lead daily scrum meetings to ensure progress
• Write and critique technical design documents
Requirements:
• 10+ years experience with Nuke pipeline programming in Python
• Strong communication abilities in both writing and speaking
• Skilled in leading effective software development teams
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming patterns
• Basic understanding of DCC tools like Houdini and Maya
