Bilingual Logistics Care Specialist

Logistics support that keeps projects moving.

The role of Logistics Care Specialist is to identify and proactively resolve potential delivery issues to help
drive customer engagement. This role provides a contact point for account managers to seek resolution on
logistics related topics. This includes tracking orders, material visibility, and contact points for the warehouse.

What You'll do

• Increase customer delivery satisfaction by providing transparency to outbound shipments
• Resolve potential fulfilment issues by presenting delivery solutions based on available stock levels,

consolidating number of shipments per order, and expedited shipping where relevant

• Monitor orders on specific holds for accuracy, ensuring timely release to distribution centers for

shipping. Ensure all COP order holds resolved prior to cut off

• Monitor back orders daily and take corrective actions to resolve in a timely manner
• Effectively utilize database analysis to record actions taken and characteristics of orders identified as

potential failures

• Develop strong partnerships with materials management/transportation/warehouse
• Develop trust with field sales to increase AM productivity and reduce inbound calls from field
• Create stock movements (STO/PO)
• Provide stock movement support for 4 CW’s and 8 DC’s
• Complete scrap requests for DC’s, HC’s, and Vans
• Provide reporting and maintenance related to open stock transport orders
• Properly handle incoming phone calls and emails in a timely manner
• Maintain inventory levels for Hilti sales vehicles, including background tables to ensure accurate and

timely replenishment of inventory

• Reconcile inventory of vans through transaction forms and regular movement of sales professionals in

and out of sales territories

• Partner with marketing to determine appropriate van inventory limits and product mix
• Support training of new team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Bilingual proficiency in both French and English required
• High School Diploma/GED, required
• Associate Degree, preferred
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience, required
• Solid knowledge of SAP systems – APO and R3
• Functional knowledge of logistics processes
• Solid knowledge of related business processes (i.e., Product Portfolio Management)
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple responsibilities and make decisions

The disclosed range estimate is for this particular job posting. Please be advised that a different location may result in a different range. At Hilti, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $42,000 - $60,000
