We are seeking both part-time and full-time Restaurant Line Cooks to join our team focusing on East Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will work independently during 8-hour shifts and must be available to work weekends and holidays. This role requires dedication to quality, safety, and efficient food preparation to maintain our kitchen's high standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook East Indian dishes to order
- Working on Tandoor will be an advantage
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and workstations
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
- Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations
- Operate tandoor and fry stations as required
- Work independently during scheduled shifts
- Assist with inventory and stock rotation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in restaurant cooking
- Culinary Arts certificate
- Proficient in grill cooking and fry station operation
- Strong knife skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work well in a team
