PROGRAM DIRECTOR / ED INTERN
Overview
Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Program Director/ED Intern will be responsible for developing, delivering, evaluating, and reporting on all MRA programs. MRA programs enhance and support MRA community residents’ quality of life through physical literacy and active for life opportunities while fostering and supporting the development of recreation, volunteers, and leadership. Specific programs include the Recreation Leader Training Camp, MRA Signature Events, multi-sport camps, and online programming such as L.A.C.E.UP! and Show Us Your Skills.
In this newly established role, the Program Director will also take part in leadership and non-profit management development over the position term. The learning plan will be customized for the Program Director and help develop skills and knowledge needed to take on other roles such as executive director or management.
