Become a Full-Time French Educational Assistant at the Ottawa Jewish Community School for the 2026-2027 school year, focused on student engagement and support in kindergarten. The Ottawa Jewish Community School is hiring an Educational Assistant fluent in French to join a vibrant kindergarten team. Your responsibilities will include lesson planning, implementing engaging instructional strategies, and meeting diverse student needs. Active participation in a collaborative teaching environment will be essential in fostering students’ educational and emotional growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute curriculum-based lesson plans
- Collaborate with teachers on instructional strategies
- Create a positive, engaging classroom setting
- Differentiate lessons to cater to varied learning needs
- Connect with students through participation in school activities
- Bachelor’s Degree and Bachelor of Education required
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in education
- Fluent in oral and written French
- Ontario Certified Teacher preferred
- Active commitment to professional development
