Job Responsibility:
- Packs parts with no damage or scratches on parts.
- Spot checks parts before packing.
- Separates damaged or scratched parts and puts them into a line accumulation bin.
- Informs Operator of any abnormalities on the equipment or parts.
- Works in a safe manner and always observes plant safety rules and regulations.
- Assists in blank loading and some material handling duties
- Assists in die changes when they occur.
- Participates in all housekeeping duties as required.
- Any other reasonable request made by Supervisor or Management.
- Participates in Employee Involvement Program.(Kaizen).
- At each stage of operation inspect the part for conformance to the requirements as defined
in part control plan and operator instruction. - Maintains lot traceability, inspection and test status using appropriate labeling defined in packaging instructions.
- Performs finished goods inspection per control plan and operator instructions when he/she is assigned to do so. Maintains traceability using barcode scanning.
- In the event of nonconformance halts the operation and informs the Lead
Hand/Supervisor. - Ensures non-conform material is identified with reject tag or placed in the red reject
container - Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Press Supervisor/Lead Hand
- Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA
- Work in compliance and conform to the Environment and ISO14001 and IATF16949 standards
- Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities
