Permanent, Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist Needed for a Naturopathic Doctors Office and Multi-Disciplinary Clinic.
Our fast-paced naturopathic clinic and dispensary is looking for a reliable front desk receptionist to join our team starting in September.
This position is ideal for someone who will be content with consistent, part-time work but also has the flexibility to take on extra days/hours if needed, including last-minute coverage for sick days and vacations. Additionally, there is an opportunity for more hours in the future as the clinic expands.
Job Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to:
- Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments
- Following up on missed or canceled appointments
- Faxing confidential information
- Checking in patients and cashing out patients
- Communicating and working with 3 doctors & multiple other practitioners
- Accepting deliveries, entering inventory, & shelving products
- Light cleaning duties including washing & folding laundry
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Patient-focused and reliable
- Detail-oriented & able to multitask at a high level
- Previous customer service or medical office administration
- CPR/First Aid training an asset
- Familiarity with Jane & Square programs is an asset but not required for the right candidate
- Comfortable & skilled with technology, both software and hardware
- Proficient in Google Docs & Google Office
- Comfortable communicating with IT for help if needed
Work Schedule:
- Approximately 20 hours per week (consistent days & hours weekly)
- 4 shifts per week, PLUS 1 Saturday per month
Compensation:
- Pay $20 per hour with an option of Health Care Spending Benefits after a year
