Backend Developer - Java & eTrading Expertise

Join our team in Mississauga as a Backend Developer focused on Java and eTrading applications. Shape the future of electronic trading with your technical expertise. This role is designed for an experienced developer to evolve our next-generation trading platform within the Fixed Income Technology team. By working hand-in-hand with Traders and Quants, you'll enhance the stability and performance of our applications. Expect to tackle exciting challenges that push the boundaries of financial technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize eTrading applications for market use
- Directly engage with trading teams for platform direction
- Ensure application stability and flexibility
- Address performance and scalability issues
- Advance automated testing and improve UAT workflow
- Minimum 7 years experience in Core Java
- Skills in Spring and Relational Databases
- Proficient in Agile software practices
- Understanding of design patterns and concurrency
- Experience with financial trading systems is advantageous
