Senior Software Engineer - React / .NET / AWS

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – React / .NET / AWS based in Canada.

This is an opportunity for an experienced full-stack engineer to build and support scalable, cloud-based applications.
You will work across modern front-end and back-end technologies, combining React, .NET, C#, REST APIs, and AWS serverless services.
The role offers broad ownership across application design, development, architecture, testing, deployment, and production support.
You will help deliver reliable, production-grade web applications designed for scale and performance.
Working closely with product and engineering teams, you will contribute technical expertise throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React, .NET, and C# .
• Build, deploy, and integrate serverless services using AWS Lambda and other cloud-based technologies.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services to support reliable application functionality.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and decisions that support scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold strong standards for code quality, testing, security, and maintainability.
• Develop automated tests and contribute to CI/CD practices that improve development and deployment reliability.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues while providing ongoing production support for cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, engineering practices, and application architecture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in full-stack application development.
• Advanced hands-on experience with React and modern front-end development.
• Strong professional experience with .NET, C#, and REST APIs , including backend service development and API integration.
• Practical experience developing and integrating AWS Lambda serverless services.
• Proven ability to design and develop scalable, production-grade web applications.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, API integration patterns, cloud development, and distributed application concepts.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing , and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed technical teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute effectively within a remote engineering environment.
