JOB OVERVIEW
XLYNX is looking for a skilled Production Chemist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the scaling and production of our BondLynx and PlastiLynx diazirine crosslinking products. The role requires a keen focus on safety, adherence to standard operating procedures, and a strong commitment to consistency and quality in all aspects of work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct production of diazirine crosslinking products and support the scaling-up of these products.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in synthetic organic chemistry.
- Work diligently to achieve targets and meet scheduled production deadlines.
- Work under the supervision of the operations manager.
CRITICAL EXPERIENCE:
- Plan and execute synthetic chemistry work on a medium-to-large scale to ensure high productivity according to agreed-upon timelines.
- Possess a good understanding of analytical equipment and in-process analysis, including practical knowledge of chromatographic and spectroscopic methods (NMR, IR, MS).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry or related field.
- Previous experience in large-scale / multi-step synthesis is an asset.
- Strong safety orientation and adherence to protocols.
- Excellent experimental skills with an interest in learning and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
SALARY:
- $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experience and education.
