Job Responsibility:
We are currently seeking Security Guards to fill full time, part time, and on-call positions for a high profile retail site.
:
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the site.
- Respond to calls for assistance from tenants and customers
- Generate incident reports and maintain a daily notebook
- Adhere to the site operating policies and procedures
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants and customers
Experience and Education:
- Possess a valid Alberta security license
- Possess a valid first aid certificate
- Have a minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education is an asset.
- Have good working knowledge of standard computer programs, including WORD and OUTLOOK
- Additional experience and training in the field of security is an asset.
- Experience in Security/Loss Prevention in a retail environment
Essential Skills:
- Be in good physical condition
- Be confident and have a positive outlook
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent public relations skills
- Know when and how to use tact and diplomacy
- Be able to apply the training that you receive
- Be able to work independently as well as being able to contribute to the security team
- Be able to think on your feet and deal with any situation
- Be able to assess, prioritize and act quickly in the field
- Be able to work rotating shifts
