Customer Planner

As the primary Customer Interface representing the plant, you will be responsible for managing the fulfillment of customer orders while ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction. Strong customer service, excellent communication skills, and a high level of organization is required to ensure success.

What you'll do:

• Be the primary interface to our Customers for delivery and logistics
• Setup daily shipments to meet the needs of our Customers
• Coordinate the Customer orders with operations, scheduling, material planning
• Manage loading customer orders and forecasts into our ERP systems
• Analyze Customer forecasts to ensure accuracy
• Support Sales, Inventory and Operations planning process
• Interface with Quality groups to resolve potential issues
• Resolving customer issues related to delivery and logistics
• Controlling obsolescence by supporting engineering changes, balance-outs
• Champion Customer Delivery performance
• Coordinate & implement engineering changes utilizing the Engineering and ERP systems

What you'll bring:

• Business designation, Bachelor of Arts degree, or college diploma (or equivalent).
• One or more of the following APICS Certifications: CPIM, CSCP and CLTD preferred.
• 3-5 years of materials/logistics experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Tools and Outlook.
• Experience with JDE Enterprise One and/or SAP would be an asset.
• A high degree of motivation and be proactive in anticipating potential issues taking preventative measures.
• Strong communication skills to ensure that all parties understand and receive appropriate information in a timely manner.
• Strong computer skills, analytical skills, ability to drive change, and proven leadership skills.
• Ability to handle high pressure situations and prioritize tasks effectively with great attention to detail.
