Responsibilities
Communications Strategy & Execution
Lead the development and execution of end-to-end broker communication strategies, campaigns, and programs aligned with core business priorities.

Author compelling, broker-focused content and manage key communication delivery channels, including recurring newsletters and targeted campaign messaging.

Own and manage the enterprise broker communications calendar, driving prioritization, cross-departmental coordination, and scheduling transparency.

Monitor performance metrics, evaluate campaign outcomes, and present data-backed recommendations to leadership and business stakeholders.

Broker Engagement & Audience Insights
Serve as the primary strategic liaison between Marketing and Broker Distribution to ensure full alignment on priorities, key messaging, and campaign rollouts.

Leverage broker feedback, research, channel data, and segmentation to continuously refine communication strategies and optimize engagement.

Oversee broker feedback loops, forums, and survey initiatives to capture actionable insights that enhance partner satisfaction.

Audience Management & Optimization
Oversee broker distribution lists, campaign targeting, audience segmentation, and channel performance reporting.

Partner with Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing teams to deploy campaigns and identify new opportunities for engagement and business impact.

Drive the continuous evolution of audience segmentation strategies to deliver highly personalized, relevant communications.

Leadership & Collaboration
Act as the lead communications subject matter expert for the broker distribution channel.

Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders and cross-functional teams across Underwriting, Customer Experience, and Business Transformation.

Coach, mentor, and guide the Broker Communications Specialist, supporting their professional development and ensuring execution excellence.

Qualifications
Must-Have Experience & Credentials
7+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, public relations, content strategy, or a related discipline.

Proven track record of developing strategic communication initiatives for external audiences, ideally within insurance, financial services, or broker/agent distribution models.

Exceptional writing, editing, and audience-centric content development skills.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organizational levels.

Hands-on experience leveraging customer analytics, engagement data, and campaign performance metrics to guide strategic decisions.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex editorial calendars, surveys, newsletters, and integrated communication programs simultaneously.

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Technical Skills
CRM & Audience Management: Experience with Salesforce CRM (audience management, reporting, analytics, campaign support).

Content & Marketing Automation: Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Campaign, or Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions.

Analytics & Reporting: Exposure to web analytics platforms and email marketing tools.

Productivity & Collaboration: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and project management platforms (Planner, Jira, or similar tools).
