The Role
Cardinal Home Care Services is looking for an entrepreneurial outreach and relationship-building professional to drive our client acquisition program across Calgary, Okotoks, and Chestermere.
This is not a receptionist, social media, or administrative role.
Your job is simple: grow our client base.
Our immediate target is 10+ new home care clients per month through referral relationships with hospitals, physiotherapy clinics, family medicine practices, assisted living facilities, and community health partners across Calgary.
You will be given an outreach budget, a full facility directory, branded referral materials, and meaningful autonomy over how you build relationships and convert referrals into active clients.
What You Will Own
- Building and managing referral relationships with discharge planners, social workers, physiotherapists, physicians, and care coordinators
- Visiting targeted facilities across SW, SE, NE and NW Calgary on a structured schedule
- Distributing Cardinal Home Care referral materials and representing the agency professionally at every touchpoint
- Following up consistently by tracking every contact, every visit, and every referral outcome
- Attending community health events, cultural community gatherings, and networking opportunities relevant to home care client acquisition
- Reporting weekly on visits completed, referrals received, conversions, and pipeline
How Success Is Measured
- New active clients acquired per month
- Active referral relationships established and maintained
- Client acquisition cost per new client
- Referral conversion rate
- Monthly revenue generated from your referral pipeline

- Want compensation tied directly to what you actually produce
Home care or healthcare experience is not required, but it is a strong asset. Strong candidates may come from pharmaceutical sales, community health work, B2C sales, fitness and wellness, aesthetics, real estate, hospitality, insurance, or any consumer-facing relationship-driven industry. Cultural community ties and language skills relevant to Calgary's immigrant and senior population are a meaningful asset.
Compensation
This role begins with a monthly retainer to cover your base commitment, plus performance-based incentives tied directly to client acquisition.
Our philosophy is straightforward - as you generate measurable value for Cardinal Home Care, your earning potential grows with it.
- Monthly retainer: CAD $1,500 – $2,500 depending on experience and agreed scope
- Performance incentive: CAD $150 – $300 per new active client acquired through your referral activity
- Target monthly earnings at 10 new clients: CAD $3,000 – $5,500
- Target monthly earnings at 20 new clients: CAD $4,500 – $8,500+
- Strong sustained performance opens the door to increased retainer, expanded territory, and a larger outreach budget
