Expected Start Date: October 18, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Royal University Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Genetic Specialty Clinic Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 18, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Genetics Counsellor $39.866 to $48.761 Travel Required: No Job : Under the direction of the head of Medical Genetics and the manager of Ambulatory Services, the Genetics Counsellor participates in the coordination of a genetics program involving screening and accepting patient referrals, preparation and follow-up of families for genetic assessment, assisting in genetic counselling in all genetics clinics; counselling, teaching and liaison with other related fields and professionals, as members of the genetics team. The individual participates in formulation and implementation of policies and procedures of the division. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Master of Genetic Counselling/Genetics
