- Strong keyboarding skills with the ability to operate at high levels of speed and accuracy;
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in Inuktitut and English, with a thorough knowledge of spelling and punctuation;
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks while meeting set deadlines;
- Flexible availability including evenings is required for this role.
Education, EXPERIENCE & Requirements
Minimum Level of Education/Training:- Grade 12 or equivalent plus additional training in translation and simultaneous interpretation equipment.
Minimum of 1year experience in an Interpreter/Translator related role Assets:
- Completion of a recognized Interpreter/Translator program
- Ability to understand basic technical terminology for City Operating Services (Planning and Lands, Recreation, Fire and Engineering Services).

Formation, expérience et exigences
Niveau minimum d’études/de formation :- Diplôme de 12 e année ou l’équivalent et une formation supplémentaire en traduction et interprétation simultanée.
Au moins une année d’expérience à un poste d’interprète/de traducteur. Atouts :
