POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Alpine Programs Administration Lead
Reporting to: Sport Program Manager
Position: Full-Time
The primary role of the Alpine Programs Administration Lead is to provide leadership through communication, organization and administrative duties that build upon the positive culture of Alpine Programs at Devil's Glen. Key areas of responsibility will include leading, managing and having accountability for Alpine Programs administration staff, program registrations/reconciliation, camp coordination/reconciliation, payroll, and customer service/general administration.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide consistent and exceptional front-line service to Devil's Glen Members and their guests in the Alpine Programs Office
- Provide administrative support for the Sport Program Manager
- Recruit, train and supervise the Alpine Programs administration staff
- Programs Brochure development
- Program registration set-up and management
- Coordinate Alpine Programs revenue/expense tracking and reconciliation
- Staff payroll - paperwork and bi-weekly submission
- Lead administration for events and camps
- Attend special events as needed
- Organization and delivery of the Alpine Programs fundraisers
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of high school
- 2+ years of experience in administration
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with POS systems
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
- Ski club related knowledge is an asset
- Must be able to work variable hours including weekends and holidays during the ski season
HOURS OF WORK
- June, July and August - Monday to Thursday with Fridays off unless taking vacation.
- Shoulder season: Monday to Friday.
- Ski season (typically mid-December to mid-April): Wednesday to Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off except for holiday periods.
