Job Responsibility:
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for general yard organization and clean up, loading of delivery trucks, warehouse receiving.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities.
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, utilizing schematics and logic controllers.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential problems or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including familiarity with schematics.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Customer service-oriented mindset to foster positive relationships with staff and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
