ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is looking to fill a Yard Support position in our St. Marys operation. This position is responsible for:

• Performing customer service functions, including overseeing the propane cylinder filling functions.
• Responsible for inspection and recertification of tanks.
• Facility maintenance, including grass cutting, yard sweeping, salting and snow removal.
• Rinsing returned fuel tanks and removing pumps and fittings.
• Assisting with branch inventory and presentation, including stock placement.
• Running errands and making local deliveries, where needed.
• Unloading and putting away tanks and other equipment and resources.
• Retrieving tanks and other materials and delivery to the service area for prep.
• Assisting the service department with inventory, equipment preparation, etc. as needed.
• Daily, Weekly and Monthly facility inspections, as required
• Performing other duties as assigned in support of branch operations.

ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate will have:

• Valid, clean and current driver's license.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills; reliable, hardworking and dedicated.
• A professional manner and possess a positive attitude with an emphasis on personal responsibility.
• A safety conscious attitude; willingness to participate in all required training programs such as the handling of hazardous products, TSSA regulated certifications.
• Experience with lift trucks, tractors and other equipment would be preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• A DZ license would be considered a benefit but is not required.
