Job Responsibility:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Experience with Messaging and stream processing on Kafka
- Design and implement highly interactive, scalable web apps and prototypes. Build and modify high-performance APIs and programs (Java)
- Solid understanding of MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning, and aggregation framework
- Experience in building and optimizing complex MongoDB database solutions
- Knowledge of integrating MongoDB with various programming languages and frameworks
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug MongoDB issues efficiently
- In-depth hands-on work experience with implementations of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Deploying container-based systems such as Docker or Kubernetes on private and public clouds
- Experience helping development teams build and deploy micro services-based applications in public cloud
- Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes
