Job Responsibility:
Company description
2 Doors Down Food and Wine became known as your neighbourhood restaurant" with a seasonal approach to food, beverages, and friendly informed service. Working closely with Nova Scotia farmers and artisan food producers, our menus change with the seasons and attempt to showcase local produce with globally inspired flavours.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years serving experience.
- The ability to multitask & work in a fast paced environment.
- A team person that is kind, empathetic, adaptable and loves the service industry is a must.
- Dazzling customer service skills.
- An expert communicator.
- Some management or leadership experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Support the restaurant manager in day to day business and directives.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address complaints.
- Assist restaurant manager in the overseeing of daily operations and maintaining the cleanliness of dining areas.
- Manage and restock dining supplies while controlling waste.
- Oversee cash handling.
- Maintain accurate employee performance and attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in coordinating and supervising special events and private parties.
- Act as a liaison between servers, kitchen staff, and management.
